1.Joshua Kimmich (Bayern Munich)

We all know how great of a player Joshua Kimmich truly is. His variability and being able two play two positions to the highest extend stand out for him. On Matchday 7, Kimmich will once again be able to show his class on the pitch - this time against his youth club VfB Stuttgart.

Since Stuttgart have taken over 2nd place in the Bundesliga from Bayern on the last matchday in the 2023/24 season, the Bavarians will be eager to prove to football Germany that they are better than Hoeneß' Stuttgart team. Kimmich however is not only highlighted for playing against his youth team, he will also compete in his 400th game for Bayern Munich! Footballers often tend to overperform on special occasions…

Both teams might surprise you with this fact: they are both on a streak of winless games! Bayern were not able to win any of their last three matches and Stuttgart haven't won four times in a row. Players like Kimmich and Gnabry however will make sure that Stuttgart don't get away with a point this time.

2.Serhou Guirassy (Borussia Dortmund)

If you have followed all the games in the international break closely, this one won't have surprised you in the slightest. Guirassy has scored five goals in two games for his country Guinea and proves to be in top form!

But even before that Guirassy has already shown to be a difference maker for Dortmund: six goals and one assist in just six games for his new club are outstanding!

Dortmund is in desperate need of in-form players: a 1-2 loss against Union Berlin and a staggering 1-5 loss against Stuttgart in their last four games have truly shaken up Nuri Sahin's team. Just a few days before their clash against Real Madrid in the Champions League, Dortmund will want to gain some confidence against newly promoted side St. Pauli on matchday 7.

If Guirassy is able to even reach half the form of his last few weeks, he will be a danger for St. Pauli in this game. And since Guirassy has already proven his abilities last season for Stuttgart, Dortmund fans are already laying their hopes in the striker during their first “crisis” of the season. Let's see if Guirassy can continue his brilliant form!

3. Jeremie Frimpong (Bayer Leverkusen)

This player is one of Bayer Leverkusen's most important players - and he is starting to go under the radar, because of his hype of last season! While Frimpong was not able to beat Germany with the Netherlands during the week, he for sure plans on doing so against Frankfurt on matchday 7 of the Bundesliga!

Frankfurt have been one of the best surprises of the season so far and are deservedly two places above Leverkusen in the Buli table. But if this match will be even just close to the prior three matchups of these teams, they will stand no chance against Xabi Alonso's side.

11 goals to 2 and 9 points for Leverkusen - one of the most dominating streaks in the whole Bundesliga. A key player in these matches has been said Jeremie Frimpong, scoring two goals in the process.

With Florian Wirtz missing this game, players like Frimpong have to step up and lead Leverkusen to the top of the Bundesliga again.

4. Jonas Wind (VfL Wolfsburg)

After his teammate Mohamed Amoura has proven his class for Wolfburg this season already, Danish striker Jonas Wind must have felt like he had a chip on his shoulder - and he delivered massively in Wolfsburg's last victory against Bochum two weeks ago!

His two goals helped secure very important three points for “die Wölfe” who now find themselves in 12th position. Even before the Bochum game however, Wind was directly involved (one goal, one assist) in the two goals in his teams 2-2 draw against Stuttgart.

Coming up against Werder Bremen, who have conceded 9 goals in the last three matches, Wind will want to prove his form and finally find the consistency he needs for his career. Maybe he will be able to form a dream partnership with the brilliantly performing Amoura next to him.
