Ivan Juric has officially been sacked by Roma after the 3-2 home defeat to Bologna, under two months after replacing Daniele De Rossi.
The situation was already dire going into the game this afternoon, but that crisis has intensified probably beyond all repair with a second consecutive Serie A defeat.
After falling 3-2 to Verona last week and held in the Europa League on Thursday by Union Saint-Gilloise, they were well beaten 3-2 at home to Bologna.
Juric was meant to talk to DAZN before kick-off as is tradition, but did not turn up for the media duties.
Before he spoke to the media after the final whistle, Roma released a statement confirming that he had been sacked.

“We would like to thank Ivan Juric for his hard work these past weeks,” read the statement.
“He handled a difficult environment with the utmost professionalism, and for that we are grateful. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors.
“The search for a new head coach has already begun and we expect an announcement in the coming days.”
Juric and his staff left the stadium without speaking to journalists.
The fans were jeering and protesting during the warm-up, but the Curva Sud emptied out after the restart as many either sat in silence or hurled insults at the final whistle.
Juric had only taken over from Daniele De Rossi on September 18 and oversaw four wins, three draws and five defeats between Serie A and the Europa League.
Jose Mourinho had also been sacked in January, so this will become the fourth Roma coach of the calendar year.
