Mikayil Faye has officially signed with US Cremonese this Monday, September 1, 2025. The Senegalese center-back departs Stade Rennais to join Serie A. The Italian club announced his arrival on a loan deal with a purchase option set at 10 million euros.
Arriving in Italy this morning, Mikayil Faye successfully completed his medical. The young Senegalese defender then signed a loan contract with US Cremonese for the 2025/2026 season. The Serie A club confirmed his transfer in an official statement.
This signing marks the end of a challenging spell in Brittany for the Senegal international. After being dropped from the squad by Habib Beye during the opening days of Ligue 1, his departure became inevitable before the summer transfer window closed.
