“No other option” | Kudus more likely to join rivals

Mohammed Kudus is edging closer to a £60m move to Spurs this summer.

Despite the club hoping for a bidding war for the Ghana international this transfer window, at this stage our London rivals appear to be the only club showing a real desire to sign the player.

Kudus, although undeniably a talent, has shown a shocking dip in form over the last year, having only scoring 4 goals last season and showed many drops in discipline.

Chelsea are understood to hold a strong interest however no formal move has been made as yet.

In an interesting twist though, a deal with Spurs may open the possibility of a reunion between Graham Potter and Bissouma, whom he worked with at Brighton.

However, at this stage it’s understood that West Ham want that money, and £60m appears to be the figure that will be deemed acceptable to allow Kudus to join Thomas Frank at Spurs.

More twists could well materialise, but with time ticking and West Ham eager to kick on, it is likely we’ll see the once ‘starboy’ switch to a bitter rival.
