Napoli reveal Player of the Month for September 🏅 | OneFootball

Napoli have announced defender Alessandro Buongiorno as their Player of the Month for September.

The 25-year-old was voted by the club’s fans as the top player for the month after a series of top performances in the heart of Antonio Conte’s defence.

In fact, the Partenopei failed to concede a single a goal through the entirety of September, as they registered two wins and a 0-0 draw with Juventus and a 5-0 win over Palermo in Coppa Italia action.

Not only did Buongiorno keep the opposition at bay, but he also scored his first ever goal for the club in the win over Cagliari.
