“Mismanagement” | Last weeks of window to save West Ham

Artikelbild:“Mismanagement” | Last weeks of window to save West Ham

West Ham are entering quite possibly the most important 2 weeks of a transfer window in recent memory and they must get it right.

The drubbing at the hands of newly promoted Sunderland has left fans shell shocked and very angry, with a clear lack of foresight in this transfer window to leave the club lacking, in both attack and midfield.

These are not newly found issues either, they were evident last season, in a campaign which if it wasn’t for 3 very poor sides, could have seen West Ham relegated.

This season already feels different – for all the wrong reasons. It feels like the mismanagement at the club is finally catching up with the owners.

West Ham are a team that looks old and dated – much like the ownership. Living in the past and totally unaware that football has moved on and evolved.

Graham Potter like all that came before him will ultimately be the fall guy, blamed for the clubs failures.

However, if they are serious in wanting him to turn this situation around then he needs the players, making the next 2 weeks so vitally important.

The club simply must deliver, or relegation is a very real prospect and also is in turn the demise of the club.
