Sources with direct knowledge of the matter tell me that Marseille have been contacted by at least three clubs, including Juventus, in recent weeks, but the answer from the French club was always the same: Balerdi is not up for sale.

Marseille may change their stance only if they receive a substantial offer, but the French club have resolved their financial issues with the sale of Luis Henrique to Inter for approximately €25m in June.

Balerdi already played under Tudor

Coach Roberto De Zerbi sees Balerdi as a key part of his squad and the 26-year-old is under contract until June 2028.

Balerdi has already played under Juventus coach Igor Tudor at Marseille, collecting 44 appearances across all competitions.
