Marseille rival Lille’s interest in Rangers’ striker Hamza Igamane | OneFootball

Lille OSC have been in the market for a new number nine with Jonathan David (25) set to leave the club in a few days at the expiration of his contract, while Chuba Akpom (29) is scheduled to return to his parent club Ajax.

As per a report from Sacha Tavolieri, Lille have turned to Rangers striker Hamza Igamane (22), with Fabrice Hawkins writing that Les Dogues have agreed on a three-year contract with the Moroccan international. Lille are still preparing to make an opening offer, but they could soon be facing competition for his services.

Hawkins explains that Olympique de Marseille are also interested in the forward, but it is not yet known whether Les Phocéens have approached either the Moroccan international or his club. Roberto De Zerbi’s squad are in search of a new attacker, following Luis Henrique’s (23) move to Internazionale Milan, and Igamane can play as a number nine or on the wing.
