As reported by Bild, Bayern Munich would consider a move for Manchester United winger Marcus Rashford.

The Englishman has previously been linked with a possible transfer to the Bundesliga, with Borussia Dortmund closely monitoring his situation at the turn of the year.

It is no secret that Bayern want to sign a left winger this summer, with Nico Williams their primary target.

However, the Spaniard is still waiting for Barcelona to strike a deal with Athletic Club, placing the German champions as his second choice destination.

Therefore, Vincent Kompany’s side have had to look for a possible alternative, with Liverpool’s Luis Díaz a possible alternative.

Nevertheless, as stated in the report, the record champions would consider Rashford should they be unable to land any of their other targets.

The 27-year-old is on Bayern’s ‘longlist’, meaning that while they hold admiration for the winger, there are a number of other targets, such as Williams, Díaz, and PSG’s Bradley Barcola ahead of him.

United have made it clear that Rashford does not have a future at the club, which could allow Bayern the chance to lure the Englishman away from Old Trafford for a fee within the region of €45 million.
