Lastly, Konur adds that despite this, City is confident of keeping their star striker at the club.

Harry Bamforth has further reported for the Daily Mail that Barcelona are interested in signing Erling Haaland. Furthermore, Bamforth adds that Barcelona Joan Laporta would love to add Haaland to his side. Bamforth goes on to report that Barcelona would like Haaland in their ranks for the re-opening of the Nou Camp. Lastly, Bamforth further adds that Barcelona would be keen to move for Manchester City’s crown jewel next summer.

It is no surprise to see Erling Haaland once again linked with a move to Spain. This time it’s Barcelona who are reportedly interested in signing the Norwegian international. Stories of either Real Madrid or Barcelona hoping to sign Haaland have become common in recent times. That is unlikely to change given Erling Haaland’s stature in the game. But despite this Manchester City have every right to feel confident in keeping their top scorer.

Firstly there is no indication that Haaland is unhappy at Manchester City. He appears happy with life at the world champions. That has been evident in his performances so far this season. There is also a hunger and an edge to Haaland’s game. He looks like a player who is destined for a leadership role with Pep Guardiola’s squad.
