And that ends our Saturday coverage of the FA Cup fifth round. Manchester City, Bournemouth, Crystal Palace and Preston are all in the hat for Sunday's draw. Join us tomorrow for more FA Cup coverage.

FULL-TIME!

That's all she wrote. Manchester City see off a spirited Plymouth outfit to book their spot in the quarter-final. The Green Army's FA Cup adventure comes to an end, as Pep Guardiola's men march on.

GOAL MAN CITY!

Moments after Rami Al Hajj threatened an equaliser for Plymouth at the other end, City released Erling Haaland to go one-on-one with goalkeeper Hazard, and after the striker's initial effort was saved, he slipped a cross in for Kevin De Bruyne to make it 3-1.

It was De Bruyne who intervened to deny Plymouth a threatening opportunity down the other end just a few seconds earlier. The Belgian has put in a proper shift today and deserved his goal.

Whether they find an equaliser or not, those thousands of travelling Plymouth fans in the away end will be proud of their team's efforts here. Play like this every week and they'll have a chance of avoiding relegation to League One.

The other Nico - Nico González - has just come off the bench, in fact. Phil Foden goes off.

Here's that second goal from O'Reilly. City spent big on another player called Nico in the January transfer window, but it's his namesake who is making a name for himself today.

City have been made to work hard for their lead, but you can't say they don't deserve to be in front. Do Plymouth have an answer for them?

GOAL MAN CITY!

The Premier League champions are in front, and it's Nico O'Reilly again! Just moments after Plymouth goalkeeper Hazard had made an amazing double save to deny Haaland and Bernardo Silva, a deep corner was whipped in and O'Reilly again headed home his second goal of the game and his third of the season.

We've just had a check for a possible City penalty for a handball against Plymouth substitute Tymoteusz Puchacz, but it was checked very quickly. No penalty.

We've got just over 20 minutes of normal time remaining. Could a second cup tie of the day be heading for extra-time and possibly penalties?

CHANCE!

Plymouth goalkeeper Conor Hazard has just made an excellent save to deny Kevin De Bruyne, who was trying to whip a fierce shot into the near post from a wide area. Moments later, Erling Haaland fired his first chance of the game over the bar.

Plymouth have still only conceded one goal in the FA Cup this season, and they're defending resolutely here.

ICYMI earlier, here's Matheus Cunha's stunning goal for Wolves. The Brazilian's day ended in disappointing fashion, however, when he was sent off for headbutting Milos Kerkez, and his side were beaten on penalties.

Some subs for Plymouth too...

We've got just over 30 minutes to play and City have brought Erling Haaland off the bench, replacing James McAtee.

City have had all of the ball in the second half, but not much to show for it. It's still 1-1.

SECOND HALF BEGINS!

We're back under way at the Etihad and City have made a half-time switch, with Rúben Dias on to replace Nathan Aké.

That goal from Nico O'Reilly was the first goal conceded by Plymouth in the FA Cup this season, having already managed clean sheets in wins over Brentford and Liverpool!

How on earth are they fighting relegation in the Championship?

And Man City's equaliser...

Here are the goals from that first half. Firstly, Plymouth's opener...

HALF-TIME!

That goal for O'Reilly means the sides go in level at the interval. Let's hope the next 45 minutes are as good as the last 10 minutes of the first half, and less like the first 35 minutes.

GOAL MAN CITY!

There's the equaliser for City, just on the stroke of half-time. After De Bruyne's effort had been saved by Plymouth goalkeeper Hazard a few minutes earlier, the Belgian delivered a free-kick into the box, and Nico O'Reilly flicked a header home to quieten down the visiting fans, and take the sides in level at the break.

What a moment that is for those travelling Plymouth fans. And it's probably what the game needed. Let's see how City respond.

GOAL PLYMOUTH!

Manchester City have been stunned by the Championship visitors, with Maksym Talovierov heading home from a corner!

The Etihad is stunned into silence. After knocking Liverpool out in the last round, are Plymouth going to pull off another giant-killing?

Here's Bournemouth's opening goal from that earlier game...

Over half an hour gone in this game and I don't think Pep Guardiola will be thrilled by what he's seen. The City boss made 11 changes for this game and has the likes of Erling Haaland and Omar Marmoush to call on from the bench, but he'll be hoping to see a bit more from Kevin De Bruyne, Phil Foden, Jack Grealish and the rest of the starting XI.

This is also what the FA Cup is all about.

The Plymouth fans behind the goal are olé-ing their team's every pass. That's what the FA Cup is all about.

CLOSE!

Manchester City nearly found the net there, and it was Gündoğan again with a firm strike from inside the box, but it rattled the woodwork and bounced out. Still 0-0.

Just like their amazing win over Liverpool in the last round, you wouldn't think this Plymouth side were second-bottom in the Championship. They are going toe-to-toe with the Premier League champions here, with the travelling Green Army roaring them on behind the goal.

Here's that winning penalty from the Vitality which sends Bournemouth into the last eight...

CHANCE!

That's the best chance of this game so far, when Bernardo Silva's cross found Ilkay Gündoğan, but the German's header is saved comfortably by the goalkeeper.

There isn't much to report from the Etihad. City have dominated possession, but Plymouth have held firm, and it's still 0-0.

How Wolves lived to regret that red card for striker Matheus Cunha in extra-time, after his brilliant goal earlier in the game to make it 1-1.

A dramatic end to a dramatic and action-filled game. Bournemouth are into the quarter-finals, and Wolves are out.

LUIS SINISTERRA WINS IT FOR BOURNEMOUTH!

His penalty hit the underside of the bar and was gathered gratefully by Kepa in the Bournemouth goal. Absolute scenes.

Boubacar Traoré misses for Wolves!

Lewis Cook scores for Bournemouth! It's 4-4.

The Irishman put his penalty wide. Bournemouth are still alive in the shoot-out.

MATT DOHERTY MISSES THE CHANCE TO WIN IT FOR WOLVES!

Toti Gomes scores for Wolves, Dean Huijsen's penalty is saved by Sam Johnstone! It's 4-3 to Wolves in the shoot-out!

And Marcus Tavernier makes no mistake for the Cherries. 3-3.

Rayan Aït-Nouri has also converted his penalty for Wolves.

Make that 2-2 from the spot-kicks, with André scoring for Wolves, before Dango Ouattara did likewise for Bournemouth.

The penalty shoot-out has also begun at the Vitality.

Jorgen Strand Larsen scored for Wolves, before Justin Kluivert equalised for Bournemouth.

KICK-OFF!

We're off and running at the Etihad.

Meanwhile, Manchester City's clash with Plymouth Argyle is about to get going.

PENALTIES!

It finishes 1-1 after 120 minutes at the Vitality, so we've got a penalty shoot-out on our hands.

Cunha didn't go quietly and had to be dragged down the tunnel by Wolves' staff. Very unedifying stuff from the Brazilian, who scored a fantastic goal earlier in the day.

Kerkez was shown a yellow card for his part in the fracas. But it's Wolves who are down to 10 men heading towards the penalty shoot-out.

What an end to the game for Cunha that is.

RED CARD!

There's been a late flashpoint at the Vitality, with Wolves goalkeeper Matheus Cunha sent off for headbutting Milos Kerkez!

CHANCE!

Sam Johnstone has comer to Wolves' rescue with another massive save, this time to deny Lewis Cook.

It looks like we're getting penalties at the Vitality.

CHANCE!

Luis Sinisterra thought he'd won it for Bournemouth with a header, but Wolves goalkeeper Sam Johnstone made an excellent save to keep the score at 1-1.

Here's what Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has had to say about Championship basement dwellers Plymouth ahead of the game.

“Huge respect. They went through against Liverpool, respect.

“The FA Cup has surprises, look how tight the games are.

“Do your job, that’s mentality. For you and the team to go through. It's our profession, our job and our passion.”

HALF-TIME!

It's half-time in extra-time at the Vitality, where Bournemouth an Wolves are still deadlocked at 1-1, with 15 minutes to go.

Erling Haaland is only on the bench when Manchester City take on Plymouth in about 25 minutes time. It will be interesting to see whether his team ends up needing him or not.

An English football record was equalled earlier today, when a player was sent off after just 13 seconds! Read all about it here.

This game has gone incredibly flat. Seems we could be heading for a penalty shoot-out.

KICK OFF!

We're back under way at the Vitality for the first half of extra-time.

Matheus Cunha's stunning strike for Wolves cancelled out Evanilson's earlier opener for Bournemouth in that game.

Meanwhile, here's Manchester City's starting line-up for their clash with fourth round giant-killers Plymouth Argyle. Just the 11 changes made by Pep Guardiola for that one.

FULL TIME!

Bournemouth 1-1 Wolves.

We're going into another 30 minutes at the Vitality ...

Wolves' last kick of the match was that Cunha stunner. It's been all Bournemouth since then but the away side look to have held on for some extra time!

We're into injury time now. This one looks like it's heading for extra time.

Kluivert goes on a run down the right-hand side and whips in a cross for Sinisterra but the offside flag goes up.

Seven minutes of normal time to go here.

Bournemouth have a corner. Huijsen keeps it alive at the back post but Tavernier's header goes straight at Johnstone.

We're heading into the final 15 minutes here. Remember if it's level at full time we're going to extra time.

There really was no stopping that one ...

CHANCE!

Bournemouth look to quickly retake the lead but Toti Gomes clears off the line from Evanilson.

He's brilliant, isn't he ...

It was an absolute beauty from the brilliant Brazilian ...

GOAL! Bournemouth 1-1 Wolves

Matheus Cunha levels things up with an absolute stunner.

Clever ball across the box by Brooks towards Semenyo. The Bournemouth forward has his effort blocked however as Wolves clear.

CHANCE!

It's been all Bournemouth so far in the second half with Lewis Cook going close to adding a second. His effort flies over the bar though.

After that ridiculous VAR check in the first half, is it finally time to have a proper debate about whether we need Video Assistant Referees going forward? Let us know in the comments.

KICK OFF! We're back underway at the Vitality.

For more on that farcical VAR check, you can read this piece from Richard Buxton right here.

HALF TIME! Bournemouth 1-0 Wolves

It's Evanilson's goal that is the difference between the two sides but it could have been more for Bournemouth who had two goals disallowed late on.

DISALLOWED GOAL!

Bournemouth have the ball in the back of the net once again but it's chalked off for a second time. This Alex Scott handball is a bit easier to judge.

Both sets of fans are chanting "it's not football any more" after that seven minute VAR check.

DISALLOWED! After a six minute check, the goal has finally been ruled out. That was farcical.

The semi-automated offside is not working. We're going to have to go back to drawing lines for this one.

"This is embarrassing" chant the crowd. We've been checking the goal for five minutes now.

This VAR check is taking a while with the referees now checking for an offside as well.

The goal is being checked by VAR for a possible handball.

It's two goals in five minutes!

Kerkez and Huijsen linger at the back post and it's Kerkez who is claiming the final touch to extend the Cherries lead.

GOAL! Bournemouth 2-0 Wolves

The Cherries have doubled their lead with Kerkez finding the net.

Bournemouth take an early lead as Evanilson reacts fastest to a loose ball and taps into an empty net.

GOAL! Bournemouth 1-0 Wolves

Evanilson returns to the XI and scores immediately with a neat finish.

It's all gone a bit flat here at the Vitality. After that initial outburst in the opening 10 minutes, things have gotten a little dull as the game heads towards the half hour mark.

Kepa gathers Ait-Nouri's cross and Bournemouth counter. Dan Brooks can't meet Marcus Tavernier's square ball however as the game remains goalless.

Wolves win a corner after Pablo Sarabia's low strike goes wide via a deflection. The corner comes to nothing though.

Incredibly bright start for Bournemouth with Kerkez dragging an effort wide. They're really going for this one!

KICK OFF! We're underway on the south coast.

A message from Palace's man of the match ...

We're warming up at the Vitality ...

Some more reaction to that Mateta injury from the BBC ...

Marc Guehi can't praise Eddie Nketiah enough after the game ...

Evanilson is back in the Cherries XI ...

Up next is Wolves v Bournemouth. Here are the teams ...

FULL TIME! Crystal Palace 3-1 Millwall

Palace have booked their place in tomorrow's draw with a fine win over battling Millwall. The game though, has been overshadowed by that horror injury to Mateta.

A fine header from Nketiah has won it for Palace ...

Crystal Palace have never won the FA Cup in their entire history. Is this going to be their year? The Eagles are surely heading into the last eight with just a few minutes remaining here.

GOAL! Crystal Palace 3-1 Millwall

Nketiah finishes off a fine set piece move to surely book Palace's spot in the tomorrow's draw.

FULL TIME! Preston 3-0 Burnley

It's the hosts who go through to the FA Cup sixth round after a stunning win over their local rivals.

We're heading into added time at Deepdale with Preston heading for the sixth round.

CLOSE!

Ivanovic goes close to scoring with one of his first touches. The Millwall sub heads well from a corner but Turner makes the save.

A mixed reception for Romain Esse, who enters the pitch. Esse joined Palace from Millwall in January.

It was a fine team move from Preston ...

GOAL! Preston 3-0 Burnley.

Will Keane scores for the hosts and surely puts them into the sixth round.

Palace have lost their way a little here and need to do something different to calm things down.

CLOSE!

Freddie Woodman hasn't had much to do in the Preston goal but Zian Flemming forces him into a good save

CHANCE!

Azeez has a decent effort for Millwall but it's cleared away by the Palace defence. Things are looking nervy for the Premier League outfit.

Palace chairman Steve Parish wasn't mincing his words at half time ...

We're back underway at Selhurst Park!

In case you missed it earlier, Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta was stretchered off earlier after this challenge ...

Whatever Scott Parker has said at half time it seems to have worked. Burnley have flown out of the blocks here.

Here's Wes Harding's strike that pulled one back for Millwall ...

We're back underway at Deepdale with Burnley facing a mountain to climb in this second half.

HALF TIME! Palace 2-1 Millwall

Wes Harding's strike is the last action of this intriguing first half of football!

GOAL! Crystal Palace 2-1 Millwall

Millwall pull one back with virtually the last kick of the half!

Here's Preston's second ...

HALF TIME! Preston 2-0 Burnley.

We're going to have 13 minutes of added time here at Selhurst Park.

It's that man Osmajic who nets for Preston with the striker finishing well after a nice team move. Having not conceded since January 11, Burnley have now let in two in 13 minutes.

GOAL! Preston 2-0 Burnley

Palace double their lead as Daniel Munoz finishes well for the Premier League side. It's going to be an uphill battle for Millwall now.

GOAL! Crystal Palace 2-0 Millwall

And here's that Tanganga own goal ...

Here's the free kick ...

Robbie Brady's free kick is the first goal Burnley have conceded since January 11!

Japhet Tanganga had been having a good game for Millwall but the former Tottenham man has gone from hero to zero by netting an own goal to give Palace a lead.

GOAL! Crystal Palace 1-0 Millwall

Robbie Brady is the hero for Preston with the Irish midfielder scoring a superb free kick.

GOAL! Preston 1-0 Burnley

Palace are banging on the door here with both Nketiah and Eze going close!

A first real effort for Burnley as Manuel Benson goes for goal from the outside of the area but it's a wild strike and sails over the bar.

CLOSE!

10-man Millwall almost take the lead but Josh Coburn can't guide his close-range effort in.

According to the BBC, Roberts is the first Millwall player to be sent off in the FA Cup for six years. It was about as clear a red card as you're likely to see too.

DISALLOWED GOAL!

Eddie Nketiah's first touch is to put the ball in the back of the Millwall net but it has been ruled out.

Mateta goes off to an ovation from the Selhurst Park crowd ...

Mateta is coming off now after that horrendous challenge. The Palace striker is stretchered off with Nketiah coming on.

Back-up keeper Lukas Jensen is on for Millwall. Luke Cundle has been sacrificed after that red card.

Mateta is still down receiving treatment after the challenge. It looks like Eddie Nketiah is coming on to replace him.

That certainly looks like a red to us. The goalkeeper's foot was very high! A nightmare start for the Championship club.

RED CARD! Millwall are down to 10 men as goalkeeper Liam Roberts gets his marching orders after clattering Mateta!

Milutin Osmajic runs clear of the Burnley defence but strikes wide of the post. What a start that would have been!

Millwall's Femi Azeez pings the first cross of the match into the Palace penalty area. but it's dealt with well by the home side.

The Burnley players have blanked Milutin Osmajic in the pre-match handshake. Osmajic was accused of making a racist remark towards Hannibal Majbri in their league game two weeks ago.

KICK OFF! And we're underway in both games.

The travelling Millwall fans are in fine voice. We're just a few minutes away from kick off in these early games ...

Palace boss Oliver Glasner has given his thoughts ahead of kick off at Selhurst Park ...
