Rodrygo’s future at Real Madrid is uncertain following an underwhelming showing at the FIFA Club World Cup. With the transfer window now open, speculation about a potential move is gaining momentum.

PSG’s role in the situation remains unclear. According to Foot Mercato’s Josué Cassé, the Brazilian forward is not currently a target for PSG, contradicting a report from Sky Sports Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, who also stated that Tottenham Hotspur are not pursuing him.

Still, Plettenberg has maintained that both Liverpool and PSG are keeping a close watch on Rodrygo. PSG have shown real interest and continue to search for a top young winger, though any move will likely depend on how the market develops in the coming weeks.

According to Foot Mercato’s Santi Aouna, Rodrygo isn’t interested in joining Tottenham, despite recent speculation. While Spurs are said to have made an inquiry, there are no active talks. If the Brazilian leaves Real Madrid, his sights are set on a club with a higher profile than Tottenham.

CaughtOffside reported Saturday that Real Madrid explored a bold move to tempt Manchester City into talks—offering Rodrygo, Eduardo Camavinga, and €40 million in exchange for Rodri.

But Manchester City have no plans to part ways with one of their key players. Under new sporting director Hugo Viana, the club is working on a contract extension that would keep Rodri at the Etihad through the 2029–2030 season, hoping to lock in his long-term future and shut down any transfer speculation.

Meanwhile, Diario AS recently reported that Real Madrid are now open to lowering their asking price for Rodrygo in order to facilitate a summer move. They’re willing to consider offers below €90 million.
