Lecce recently signed Francesco Camarda, the 17-year-old promising young striker, on loan from Milan with an option to buy. Eusebio Di Francesco might opt to start him up front with Camarda eligible to feature. Lecce will be without Filip Marchwinski and Gaby Jean, who are both sidelined with cruciate ligament tears until mid-October.

Di Francesco expressed satisfaction with his team’s organisation following their goalless draw against Genoa on the opening weekend, stating: “In the first twenty minutes, the team played very well. Rafael Leão remains unavailable for the second consecutive match due to the calf injury he suffered against Bari in the Coppa Italia. The Portuguese winger is training individually and is not expected to feature against his former loan club.
