“Kept the receipts” – Romeo Lavia sends confusing message out to his fans on SnapChat | OneFootball

Chelsea midfielder Romeo Lavia has sent a confusing message out to his fans on his SnapChat account this week.

It’s very normal these days for players to post a lot on social media and they will often use it to send cryptic or even clear messages.

Yesterday we had Chelsea transfer target Alejandro Garnacho, who Chelsea have stepped up talks to sign this week, posting a cryptic message on his Instagram account alongside an hourglass emoji which caused a stir online.

But it wont always be about transfer moves, sometimes players want to send other messages, and Lavia has done just that this week.

I have no idea what this is about

As you can see above, Lavia posted a blank message with the words ‘kept the receipts. remember to stay on that side’ on his SnapChat account last night.

Lavia has been out injured of course but is due back very soon once again. He has struggled a lot with injuries in his career and again at Chelsea. Blues fans have not seen anywhere near enough of him yet and have been eager to see more.

Maybe it’s criticism?

I know a lot of Chelsea players have been annoyed with receiving criticism lately for whatever reason, so maybe it’s something to do with that? Maybe Lavia has seen people speaking about him and is snapping back like many Chelsea players have done lately?

I don’t know, I am just speculating. Only Lavia will be able to give us the answer to that one and why he’s posted this message. Maybe it’s nothing at all and we all just move on with our lives. Yeah, it’s that one, let’s roll with that one!
