Juventus are on the verge of finalising a deal to sign Jadon Sancho from Manchester United, according to Sport Mediaset.
The 25-year-old winger, who joined United from Borussia Dortmund in 2021, is close to bringing his turbulent Old Trafford chapter to a close.
Sancho and Juventus have agreed personal terms for a four-year contract worth approximately €6 million per year, plus bonuses.
The Englishman has consented to a significant wage reduction to facilitate the move, which is a key factor given Juventus’ salary structure and financial constraints.
Juventus are expected to share a portion of the compensation United will pay the player to smooth his exit.
While their initial bid fell short of United’s valuation, they are now prepared to raise their offer to near €25m, including add-ons.
Man United have been adamant they would prefer a permanent sale after Sancho’s loan at Chelsea last season failed to yield a permanent exit.
With less than 12 months remaining on his contract, albeit with the option for another year, United are keen to part ways with Sancho and recoup some of their €85m investment.
The move represents a much-needed opportunity for Sancho to reignite a career that has stalled over the last couple of years.
