“I’m still gnawing. It really burns,” said Frattesi in the interview with Cronache di Spogliatoio via FcInterNews

For his part, Augusto wasn’t part of the traveling party to the Spanish capital due to an injury.

“I was in Milan. As a fan, I was more anxious because I was watching it on TV. My goodness, it wasn’t an evening to remember.”

Asllani didn’t even want to comment on the topic.

On a more cheerful note, the young trio remembered Frattesi’s last-gap winner against Hellas Verona. His goal earned the Nerazzurri three valuable points at a time when Juventus were breathing down their neck.

“We were lucky and we did well to believe in it,” commented the Italian midfielder on his winning goal.

“It was the best victory since the first Derby. Never had such a crazy match.

“The celebration? My nerves get blocked every now and then. I saw my father in the stands rejoicing, it was wonderful”.

Augusto and Asllani also agreed it was an epic moment.

The trio then returned to the 5-1 Derby della Madonnina rooting at the start of the season.

“It was the most beautiful evening,” said Frattesi who scored the fifth and final goal.

“That was shocking. An incredible evening. Beautiful really beautiful!”

“It was my first derby,” noted Augusto. “Winning in that manner this was crazy. Frattesi likes to score in the last five minutes.”

The Brazilian also described his maiden Inter goal as a bitter one, because the match ended in the club’s Coppa Italia elimination at the hands of Bologna.

“A bitter goal, I liked the fact that I scored at San Siro. I was happy and excited, even if it didn’t have much value because we were out of the tournament.”

On the other hand, Asllani’s first Nerazzurri goal bore a happier memory, resulting in a win over Genoa.

“I’ve been waiting for it for a year and a half,” said the Albanian. “I’m happy that it arrived at home.

“We were all happy on the bench,” added Frattesi. “When a friend scores, it’s even better.”
