Real Madrid head into the international break as joint leaders of La Liga, with nine points from three games, along with Athletic Club.

The Merengues have secured three wins in Xabi Alonso’s debut season as manager in La Liga, doing so without four players absent through injury.

Indeed, Real Madrid have been without one of their most important players, Jude Bellingham, for the start of the season, along with Ferland Mendy, Eduardo Camavinga, and Endrick.

Camavinga, Endrick to return soon

But there is good news on the horizon, with the return of two of the injured players getting very close.

Indeed, according to The Athletic, Camavinga is expected to return to the squad after the international break, ahead of Real Madrid’s La Liga game against Real Sociedad.

And, the idea is for Endrick to make a comeback from his issue for the same match.

As for Bellingham and Mendy, there is still no set return date for their return from injury.

Camavinga suffered an ankle sprain in August, just before the friendly against WSG Tirol. While it was initially estimated that the midfield starlet would return in ten days or so, his recovery is taking longer than expected.

As for Endrick, the young striker has not played since late May due to a muscle injury. While he was close to returning during the summer’s Club World Cup, a relapse has sidelined him for an extended period.

But, now, the idea is for both Camavinga and Endrick to return to action for Real Madrid’s first game after the international break against Real Sociedad.
