Randal Kolo Muani (26) has made no secret of his wish to remain at Juventus following a successful loan spell during the second half of the 2024-25 season. Speaking ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup, the France international made clear his preference to stay in Turin beyond the summer. The following was transcribed by RMC Sport following France’s win over Germany in the third-place match of the UEFA Nations League this weekend.
The former Nantes forward was loaned to the Serie A giants by PSG in January, after a frustrating first half of the season in Paris. The deal included no option to buy, but Kolo Muani has impressed in Italy, scoring 8 goals and registering 1 assist in 16 league appearances.
“I’m very happy to have been able to play more – both with the national team and the club,” he said. “I’m very happy at Juventus. I hope to continue there. They welcomed me well, I’m enjoying myself. I’m going with them to the Club World Cup.”
Kolo Muani’s performances have not gone unnoticed. He retained his place in Didier Deschamps’ France squad for the UEFA Nations League Finals and was even handed a start in the third-place match – a 2-0 win over Germany.
Although under contract with Paris Saint-Germain until June 2028, the striker’s recent resurgence has created a growing momentum for a permanent move to the Allianz Stadium, with Juventus reportedly interested in opening negotiations with the Ligue 1 champions.
The striker will now extend his season with Juventus at the Club World Cup, where they’ll face Al-Ain, Wydad Casablanca, and Manchester City, beginning their campaign on June 19.GFFN | George Boxall
