Joao Pedro remains a player of interest to Chelsea and they are having conversations about the forward according to Fabrizio Romano.
Chelsea are set for another busy summer and have already completed the signing of Liam Delap, whilst they are thought to be close to agreeing a deal for Jamie Gittens.
The Blues are also said to be in the market for a versatile attacker and centre back as they look to strengthen Enzo Maresca’s squad ahead of the new season.
Whilst a striker was the main priority this summer, Chelsea are also looking for a versatile forward given both Christopher Nkunku and Joao Felix are likely to leave.
The Blues have been linked with Hugo Ekitike, Mohammed Kudus and Pedro, but have yet to make an official move for any of the trio.

Chelsea are believed to admire Pedro, but face stiff competition from Newcastle, with Brighton thought to want around £60m for the 23-year-old.
Pedro, who scored ten Premier League goals last season looks likely to leave this summer and Romano has provided an update on Chelsea’s interest.
“Let’s not forget the interest from Chelsea in Joao Pedro,” he told his YouTube channel.
“He remains a player of interest, and they are having conversations because they like him and are following closely.”
Kudus is another player of interest and Chelsea were linked with the Ghana international back in 2023 when he was still an Ajax player.
A move to Stamford Bridge didn’t happen and Kudus ended up joining West Ham instead, but it looks like he could be leaving this summer.

Chelsea aren’t the only Premier League side interested in Kudus, who has an £85m release clause in his current contract.
It’s unlikely Chelsea would pay that much, although it’s thought West Ham would be prepared to accept less than the release clause for Kudus who scored five Premier League goals in 32 appearances last season.
