💻 Hacker breaks into Conmebol accounts, 'confirms' Palmeiras' world title

Official profiles of Conmebol were targeted by a hacker attack on the night of this Monday (18).

The intruder posted messages claiming that FIFA had recognized Palmeiras' world title in 1951.

The posts, made on accounts linked to the Libertadores in Portuguese and Spanish, as well as the Copa Sudamericana profile, were all fake.

FIFA has not announced any kind of validation of the Copa Rio victory, which is already recognized as an inter-confederation tournament, without the status of a world title.

As soon as the South American entity realized the breach, the publications were taken down.

Even so, the hacker managed to repeat the action a second time, but the content was again removed shortly after.
