A big-name free agent midfielder was on Friday photographed donning the colours of La Liga giants Real Madrid.

The player in question? Paul Pogba.

Former France international Pogba is of course currently without a club.

This comes after the 32-year-old’s contract terms with Italian heavyweights Juventus were terminated, owing to a failed doping test.

Pogba has spent the months since working hard to maintain his fitness, with a view to returning to competitive football for the 2025/26 campaign.

In his native France, AS Monaco, for one, are understood to be interested in the services of the former Manchester United man.

As alluded to above, though, late this week, it is fans of another of European football’s most recognisable clubs who have had their attentions piqued by Pogba.

This comes after the gifted midfielder posed for a photo, since posted to social media, whilst wearing a Real Madrid jersey:
