Now, he’s reportedly at the top of PSG’s wish list as they look to bring the hometown talent back to the capital.

On Wednesday, Football Insider reported, citing sources, that Liverpool are “slightly concerned” about Real Madrid’s interest in Konaté.

Konaté is in a similar situation as Trent Alexander-Arnold was, with just 12 months left on his contract and the option to sign a pre-contract agreement starting in January 2026. The report adds that Liverpool have held talks but nothing has been agreed with the France international.

MARCA recently reported that Real Madrid are still targeting players whose contracts expire next season, with Konaté at the top of their wishlist for the summer of 2026.

L’Équipe reported that PSG are keeping an eye on Konaté as they search for a right-sided center back. The Liverpool defender’s name had surfaced frequently a few months ago, but so far, no offer has been submitted to the Premier League club.
