Juventus are fighting for a top-four finish in Serie A this season and currently sit fourth with 49 points, but the Bianconeri have five key games ahead, which will likely determine whether they’ll play in the Champions League next season.
The Serie A giants have already been eliminated from this season’s edition of the Cup with the Big Ears, suffering a 4-3 aggregate loss to PSV. Thiago Motta’s men had finished 20th in the league phase, grabbing some surprisingly disappointing results like a 0-0 draw against Club Brugge in January. The Bianconeri were favourites to win in Belgium, as per SportsBoom’s preview of the match.
However, Juventus don’t want to miss the chance to be featured in Europe’s elite competition next season, so they’ll necessarily need to finish the current campaign in the Serie A top four.
The Bianconeri trail third-placed Atalanta by five points and lead fifth-placed Lazio by two points. In their pursuit of securing a Champions League spot, Juventus will face several crucial fixtures:

The match against Atalanta stands out as particularly significant, offering Juventus a direct opportunity to close the gap on a top-three rival. Additionally, maintaining strong performances against mid-table teams like Hellas Verona, Genoa, and strugglers Lecce, Parma, and Monza will be essential to accumulating points and fending off competition from teams like Lazio.
Juventus’s recent Serie A form has been promising, highlighted by a 1-0 victory over Cagliari on February 23, 2025, marking their fourth consecutive league win. Dusan Vlahovic secured the decisive goal in that match.
With 12 matches remaining in the season, Juventus’s performance in these key games will be pivotal in determining their qualification for next season’s Champions League.
Dusan Vlahovic
The Juventus forward has scored 14 goals for his team throughout the season. The Serbian international is good at drawing the defender, and he is also physically present in contact.
Francisco Conceiçao
The Portugal international has been a constant threat on offence for his team throughout the season and will be looking to guide them to much-needed victories.
Kenan Yildiz
The exciting Juventus forward is a key player for his team and enjoys playing for the Italian team. “Here, we have everything we need to succeed; it’s up to us to give it our all and repay Juventus for their trust, ” said Yildiz.
“Kenan Yildiz has enormous potential, physicality, technique, he’s a hard worker, puts the effort in to help defensively, he can create important situations taking men on, he certainly needs to improve his finishing as we saw again this evening,” Thiago Motta said after a crucial win over Cagliari this past weekend.
“He gets into the box with strong physicality and is sharp, so I like to see him get into the box, that is how you score goals, and it is something we are pushing hard for not just him, but also Francisco Conceicao.
“We had so many chances in the first half, we went into the break knowing that it would be a problem not finishing it off and inevitably we then suffered. With thought that Michele Di Gregorio’s long ball could cause problems over their midfield and also kept possession well, moving it pretty quickly in the first half. We created so much, it’s a pity we only went into half-time leading 1-0.”
