Soon-to-be-unveiled Liverpool signing Hugo Ekitiké is one of five Eintracht Frankfurt players not included in the squad for the Bundesliga club’s coming USA tour. Mahmoud Dahoud, Aurelio Buta, Eric Junior Dina Ebimbe, and Hrvoje Smolcic have also all been released for negotiations with other clubs.

The four players listed all featured on Eintracht’s preseason “strike list”. There’s no real trail in the case of former Brighton professional Dahoud. The former German international does maintain an estimated €3.5m market value. Concrete links exist for Buta, Ebimbe, and Smolcic.
