Ansu Fati joins AS Monaco on loan with an option to buy. The French club has just announced the exciting news. At the same time, FC Barcelona also issued a statement about their player, revealing that the young Spaniard has extended his contract with the club.

"FC Barcelona and first-team player Ansu Fati have reached an agreement to extend his contract until June 30, 2028. FC Barcelona and AS Monaco have also agreed on a loan deal for the forward until June 30, 2026," wrote Barça. So, Ansu has lengthened his stay before heading to France.

Next season, Fati will play alongside Paul Pogba after a few challenging years. The 22-year-old forward will wear the number 31 shirt at Monaco—a symbolic number he wore at the start of his professional career, marking the day of his debut and also linked to his birthdate, October 31, 2002.
