Farioli on the chance of Pablo Rosario for the derby: “He’s a top player”

The Dominican midfielder Pablo Rosario has been confirmed as a reinforcement for FC Porto, signed from Nice, France, for 3.75 million euros. The 29-year-old player signed a contract with the blue and whites for the next four seasons, until June 2029, with a release clause of 50 million euros, while the French club retained 15% of the capital gains in a potential future transfer.

The matter was discussed in Francesco Farioli's preview of the Alvalade classic. Farioli knows the player well, having coached him at Nice, and this Friday he praised him. “He had his first training session with us, he will travel to Lisbon. I have worked with him before, he is capable of playing in three different positions. He is a great teammate and a great player,” he stated.
