Everton complete signing of Dutch midfielder Van Gool | OneFootball

Everton have completed the signing of Dutch midfielder Rosa van Gool on a free transfer.

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Toffees this afternoon.

The 21-year-old joins Everton after leaving Dutch Eurojackpot Vrouwen Eredivisie club Ajax. Van Gool has been in the Ajax senior squad for the last three years. She made 19 appearances for The Daughters of the Gods in all competitions this season. Van Gool was a title-winner with Ajax back in 2023 while she has also enjoyed success in the domestic cups.

After joining Everton, Van Gool said “I am really excited to be here. I can’t wait to start. My dream was always to play in England and I think this is the best competition in the world right now, so it’s a great place for me to develop. Everton is such a historical club and it’s amazing I can play here.

“I love the identity of the Club and I think the way Everton want to play is a style that suits me. I am really happy to be here and from the first moment it feels like home. I really like it here and I had good talks with Brian [Sørensen].”

Van Gool is Everton’s first signing of the summer transfer window.
