Manchester City continue their Premier League title pursuit with a defining clash against Tottenham in north London on Tuesday night.

Pep Guardiola’s side can take a major step towards a record-breaking fourth successive Premier League with victory in midweek, as Manchester City look to move two points clear of Arsenal with a win at Tottenham.

Manchester City, who have never won or even scored in the Premier League at the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, beat Spurs 0-1 in the Emirates FA Cup in January, courtesy of a late Nathan Ake goal.

The Dutchman’s involvement in Tuesday night’s clash is subject to doubt however, after Ake was withdrawn due to injury in the first-half of Saturday’s 0-4 win over Fulham at Craven Cottage.

On a more positive note in the contest, Josko Gvardiol continued his remarkable recent goalscoring form with a brace during the victory, with Phil Foden and Julian Alvarez also on the scoresheet.

Foden also netted during the Blues’ 3-3 draw with Tottenham in the reverse fixture at the Etihad Stadium in December, as Manchester City were denied the three points after Dejan Kulusevski’s last-gasp header.

Manchester City have not beaten Tottenham away from home in the Premier League since October 2018, although Pep Guardiola’s side remain unbeaten since early December 2023 in a staggering run of form that has brought them to this position.

Ahead of another crucial clash in the capital, and our penultimate contests of the season, several Manchester City players have been confirmed as starters, with the first details provided by Simon Bajkowski on X.

As per the information of Simon Bajkowski of the Manchester Evening News, Jack Grealish and Nathan Ake are both with the Manchester City squad in attendance at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium following their recent fitness and injury concerns.

As per the ever-reliable FplToni on X, Ederson, Kyle Walker, Josko Gvardiol, Kevin De Bruyne, Phil Foden, and Erling Haaland all start for Manchester City in a line-up that is likely to be the same as the 0-4 victory over Fulham when Nathan Ake was withdrawn through injury.

Ange Postecoglou and Pep Guardiola are expected to confirm their respective Tottenham and Manchester City starting line-ups from around 19:00 (UK) on Tuesday night.

Now confirmed.
