Departing AC Milan star on the verge of La Liga return | OneFootball

A recently-departed members of the attacking ranks at Italian giants AC Milan is all set for a move back to Spain, with Real Oviedo.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, citing Estadio Deportivo, who point towards Luka Jović as the player in question.

Striker Jović recently became a free agent for the latest occasion, following the expiration of his terms with the aforementioned AC Milan.

Already boasting experience of Spanish football with Real Madrid, a number of La Liga clubs are in turn understood to have quickly expressed an interest in his services.

Until now, the outfit viewed as best positioned to strike a deal for Jović were Getafe.

But as alluded to above, this weekend, a new suitor have pushed to the very front of the queue for the Serbian.

As per a report from MD:

‘Now, newly promoted Oviedo are the most likely candidates to land him. Estadio Deportivo reports that there has been significant progress in talks in recent hours, and that only a few minor details remain to be finalized before his signing becomes a reality.’
