As a result of ongoing scouting efforts aimed at bringing in the best available Mexican talent, and as part of the roster build-up for the Apertura 2025, the Chivas Femenil Sports Directorate has signed Denise Castro, a forward from San Diego State University (SDSU).

- She is 22 years old, was born in San Diego, California, and stands 1.72 meters tall.- She is the daughter of Mexican parents, making her Mexican by birth.- She has a strong background with Mexico’s national teams, in addition to her development in U.S. college soccer.- She played in the 2018 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Uruguay with Mexico, reaching the final against Spain.
