Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea claimed the top-four positions in the Premier League.

English football was allocated a fifth Champions League side due to their co-efficient, which was claimed by Newcastle United. The Magpies finished fifth despite losing at home to Everton on Sunday, with Aston Villa also beaten.

Tottenham Hotspur join the top five in next season’s Champions League after winning the Europa League.

Aston Villa will play Europa League football next season, alongside Crystal Palace. The latter qualified after winning the FA Cup and will play European football for the first time.

Nottingham Forest’s seventh-placed finish earns Nuno Espirito Santo’s side Europa Conference League football. It will be Forest’s first season in Europe since 1995.
