Chelsea player decides to train separately until next transfer window – no desire to go to Saudi

One Chelsea player looks like he has decided he will just train separately from the first team from now until January.

Of course, the transfer window for many European leagues closed last night, but there are still some transfer windows open around the globe in places such as Turkey and Saudi Arabia. So any players who did not get a move but still want a move, can do so if they are prepared to go and play in one of the leagues where the window remains open.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea tried to sign Wolves striker on deadline day!!

Young winger Tyrique George is one of those players who seemingly wanted to leave the club this summer and was about to on deadline day. But his proposed permanent departure to join Fulham collapsed at the final stages. I cannot see him going to Saudi or another other open league to be honest and besides, it’s been reported that he is staying now and will be part of Chelsea’s Champions League squad.

Striker Nicolas Jackson is one player who got his deadline day move away from Chelsea, finally joining Bayern Munich on a loan deal. He’s so happy to get the move that he’s even called his new club one of the best in the world.

Sterling stays

Another winger, Raheem Sterling, did not get his move away from Chelsea in what has been a frustrating window for him with very little serious interest or advanced moves.

Not going to Saudi

Could Sterling still move to one of the leagues that have transfer windows still open? Well, it doesn’t look too likely.

Kieran Gill of The Daily Mail posted this on his X account today:

“Re Raheem Sterling, Saudi window still open but told no desire to move there this summer. Ambitions include adding to his 82 England caps. 30yo will train separately if necessary until next opportunity to leave in January.”
