Chelsea forward Ribadeira joins FC Fleury 91 on loan | OneFootball

Chelsea forward Louna Ribadeira has joined French Arkema Première Ligue club FC Fleury 91 on a season-long loan deal.

The Blues announced news of the move via a post on their official club website this evening.

The 21-year-old joined Chelsea from French top flight club Paris FC in summer 2024 and she signed a four-year contract with the South West Londoners. The youngster initially re-joined Paris FC on loan before being recalled by Chelsea. She then spent part of last season on loan at Everton.

Ribadeira’s game time has been limited due to various injury problems over the past 12 months and she is lacking a regular run of minutes. The player must prove her fitness before pushing for a place in the Chelsea side therefore she will continue her development back in France with FC Fleury 91 this season.

Chelsea clearly believe that they have a real talent on their hands in the long-term. The Blues signed Ribadeira off the back of some red-hot form in the French Arkema Première Ligue in the 2023/2024 season. The player netted eight goals in 24 appearances for Paris FC in that campaign, landing herself a Young Player of the Year award.

The South West Londoners are sure to keep a keen eye on Ribadeira’s performances during her time back home in France.
