Enzo Maresca says Chelsea attacking duo Marc Guiu and Christopher Nkunku are “still not 100%” ahead of the crucial clash with Nottingham Forest on Sunday.

Maresca opted to start youngster Tyrique George up front in the 1-0 win over Manchester United.

And the Blues boss could well have limited options again when his side travel to Nottingham Forest with qualification for next season’s Champions League on the line.

“At the moment, Marc Guiu and Christopher Nkunku, they start to take part in our sessions but they are both still not 100%,” Maresca said.

Chelsea currently sit fourth in the Premier League going into their final game showdown against Forest, who are a point behind the Blues in seventh position.

Maresca’s side need a victory to guarantee their place in the top five and the Champions League next season but know anything less could see them drop into the Europa League, or even the Conference League again.

They also have a Conference League final against Real Betis to contend next Wednesday, with victory in that competition also coming with a place in the Europa League next season.

But Maresca has been left unhappy with the decision to hold the final just three days after the Forest game, while Betis will have two days more to prepare.

“I’m not happy, 100%,” he said.

“You cannot allow a team 48 hours more than the other team when you play in a European competition final.

“I don’t know how many people are in this room but if I ask you if it’s normal to play a final where a team has 48 hours more than the other team, I think it’s not normal. It’s not something correct.

“If it’s UEFA, La Liga or the Premier League, I don’t know to be honest.”
