Chelsea signing Alejandro Garnacho isn’t something that will happen “right away” according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
The Blues have been busy revamping their attack this summer and have already signed Liam Delap, Jamie Gittens and Joao Pedro.
Estevao Willian has also joined, although a deal was agreed for the exciting Brazilian last summer, and Chelsea are currently in negotiations to sign Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig.
Chelsea are said to want eight or nine attacking options in their squad to rotate between next season, as they return to the Champions League.
If Chelsea get Simons across the line, the 22-year-old might not be the last attacker to join this summer, with the links to Garnacho not going away.

Chelsea were first linked with the Argentine back in January, and those links have continued throughout the summer window.
Garnacho has been told by Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim to find a new club, and there’s interest from both the Premier League and in Europe.
However, it’s believed Garnacho wants to join Chelsea, and it’s thought he’s waiting for an approach from the Stamford Bridge outfit.
Chelsea reportedly don’t want to pay more than £30m for the winger, and Romano has provided another update on the situation.
“Garnacho to Chelsea is something that won’t happen right away; it’s going to take some time before they enter into that,” he said on his YouTube channel.

“Chelsea have to sell players, as they want to find solutions for current players before signing more.
“Also the valuation will be important. Timing is relaxed. Not at the negotiation stage.”
Whilst a deal for Garnacho could happen towards the end of the window, the Blues are now starting to make progress on outgoings.
Marc Guiu joined Sunderland on loan earlier this week, whilst Armando Broja is set to join Burnley on a permanent deal.
Joao Felix, Noni Madueke, Djordje Petrovic and Kepa Arrizabalaga have already left, but there’s still a number of players who need to be moved on, the most difficult of which could be Raheem Sterling and Ben Chilwell.
