Celtic are reportedly closing in on the signature of Callum Osmand. The Fulham youngster is at the end of his contract with the London club meaning that Celtic can take him for a bargain compensation fee.
As reported by journalist Mark Hendry, Celtic have a medical booked for the attacker and they see him as a first team option, rather than a B Team player.
The 19-year-old has been scouted for some time and Celtic appear to have been eager on the player that has impressed with Fulham’s under-21s.
The Welsh youngster scored a hattrick in the PL Cup Final against Spurs earlier this season, in what was his first appearance at Craven Cottage. He netted 10 goals and provided four assists in 17 appearances in the Premier League 2, also playing and scoring in the EFL Trophy.
Celtic have agreed deals to sign Kieran Tierney along with Ross Doohan; however, the club are said to be targeting further deals to strengthen the first team. Daniel Cummings swapped Celtic for West Ham, potentially explaining the need for Celtic to get another option in. Mathias Kvistgaarden is being eyed as a first team option as Celtic eye a replacement for Kyogo.
