Celtic to play Sporting CP in pre-season friendly | OneFootball

Celtic will face Sporting Clube de Portugal in a pre-season friendly at the Estádio do Algarve on Wednesday, July 16.

Brendan Rodgers’ side are at a training camp in Portugal next month, and it will culminate with a match against the Portuguese champions.

The Scottish champions will head to Portugal for their training camp following a match against Cork City at the SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh on July 8.

And after the game against Sporting CP in Portugal, the Hoops will return to Paradise on Saturday, July 19 for a friendly against Newcastle United.

Celtic will also be taking part in a four-team Como Cup tournament in Italy between July 23-27, alongside Ajax, Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli, and hosts, Como.
