Hanif Ben Berkane reports that Bayern Munich have organized a transfer for young Spanish talent Adam Aznou. The Bundesliga record champions are, per the French journalist, preparing to send the 19-year-old to La Liga’s Getafe CF. Whether the deal will be another loan out or an outright sale is not specified.
Among the players Bayern recalled from loan stints early in order to build their squad for the Club World Cup, Aznou logged only eight minutes of action as a sub in Bayern’s opening group stage fixture against Auckland City. The 19-year-old fullback/winger likely has no FCB prospects in the league this season.
Aznou recently returned from a short six-month loan stint in his native country with Real Valladolid; at which he gained some match practice and upped his estimated market value from €3m to €4m. The now three-times-capped Moroccan international remains under contract with Bayern through 2027.
It’s worth noting that no German sources are corroborating the Aznou rumors just yet. Aznou has also been linked with a move to Real Betis. The German giants could conceivably have other plans for their prospect.
