FC Barcelona remain on the lookout for a new left-winger after being snubbed for the second summer in a row by Nico Williams, who renewed his contract at Athletic Club.
Luis Diaz of Liverpool has since been seen as the priority target by the La Liga champions, but the Colombian’s pursuit is complicated by several factors.
As such, journalist Florian Plettenberg now reports that Barcelona have made Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford their priority target and are ready to go all in on his signing.
As mentioned earlier, Diaz had been the No. 1 target for the Blaugrana. However, Liverpool rejected an approach for the 28-year-old, and his steep price tag is an issue.
Barcelona, thus, have moved to Rashford as their new No. 1 target, with manager Hansi Flick also giving the green light for his signing.

Talks are understood to be underway to bring in the England international, who is destined to leave Manchester United after falling out of favour with manager Ruben Amorim.
Indeed, the 27-year-old has been given time off from joining pre-season so as to find a solution for his future, while the Red Devils have handed his No. 10 shirt to new signing Matheus Cunha.
Rashford, who spent the second half of the last season at Aston Villa on loan, is desperate to join Barcelona. He is also willing to lower his wages and is prepared to wait for the Catalan giants.
With the La Liga champions now ready to go all-in on his signing, things could pick up speed in the coming weeks as Barcelona hope to rope in a winger as early as possible.
