PSG face uncertainty in the goalkeeping position, with LOSC Lille’s Lucas Chevalier emerging as a target, though Barcelona are also looking to challenge for the promising young keeper.

Gianluigi Donnarumma, who’s under contract with PSG through 2026, has made a number of costly mistakes that have raised concerns about his reliability. However, strong performances against Liverpool, Aston Villa, and Arsenal in the Champions League have helped him regain some confidence.

PSG are shifting their focus toward young French talent, and this offseason could be the right time to make a change in goal.

As reported by SportsZone, the club are monitoring Chevalier as a potential target. But any move would likely depend on PSG finding a new destination for Donnarumma, who still hasn’t fully won over Luis Enrique.

Manchester United are also in the market for a goalkeeper. According to The Sun, they’re keeping an eye on both Chevalier and Royal Antwerp’s Senne Lammens, especially with André Onana reportedly drawing interest from Saudi Arabia.

Spanish outlet Fichajes reports that Barcelona have recently added Lucas Chevalier to their shortlist of goalkeeper targets. Sporting director Deco is actively searching for a new No. 1, and Chevalier has emerged as a serious candidate.

Still, Barcelona will need to be strategic to make a deal work financially, which could mean offloading one or two players to free up funds. Lille are reportedly seeking between €35 million and €40 million (around £33.5 million or $45.5 million), a price tag currently beyond Barcelona’s budget.

Chevalier, one of the standout keepers in Ligue 1, is said to be open to a move if a “serious offer from Spain” arrives—most likely from Barcelona. That, however, hinges on whether Deco can generate the money needed to make a formal offer.
