Average stadium attendance: A new record for Ligue 1 Uber Eats! | OneFootball

On Matchday 23 of the 2023-2024 season, League 1 Uber Eats recorded an average attendance of 31,650 spectators per match. An all-time record.

The average capacity rate for this 23rd round of Ligue 1 matches was 90.4%! In fact, 7 stadiums were more than 90% full (FC Lorient, FC Metz, Havre AC, Olympique de Marseille, Paris Saint-Germain, RC Lens, RC Strasbourg Alsace).

A sign of the ever-growing appeal of Ligue 1 Uber Eats is the fact that average attendance in the French championship is rising steadily and sharply over the seasons (21,985 in 2021/2022, then 23,506 in 2022/2023 and finally 26,942 in 2023/204 at the same stage of the season.

As a result, more and more fans are coming to Uber Eats Ligue 1 stadiums to cheer on their team, as shown by the significantly higher occupancy rate over the last two seasons: after 23 matches in 2023/2024, the average occupancy rate stands at 84.1%, compared with 80.3% in 2022/2023 and 70.7% in 2021/2022 at the same stage of the competition.
