Atlético Madrid amongst clubs keen on Wesley Gassova | OneFootball

La Liga giants Atlético Madrid are amongst a growing list of clubs keen on the services of one of Brazilian football’s latest breakthrough talents.

That’s according to transfer insider Matteo Moretto, who points towards Wesley Gassova as the player in question.

Wesley, for his part, is a 19-year-old attacker, who is currently plying his trade in his home country, with heavyweights Corinthians.

Chiefly a left winger, the youngster is also capable of lining out on the right, or even in a more central position behind a leading striker.

Wesley has long been hailed for hailed for his technical qualities, with his ability in one-on-one situations perhaps his most enticing attribute.

All of this taken into consideration, it should come as little surprise to hear of interest in Wesley’s signature beginning to mount in Europe.

As per the aforementioned Matteo Moretto of Relevo, Premier League outfit West Ham United recently saw an opening offer rejected for the wide-man.

The Irons, though, intend to return to the table with an improved proposal imminently.

And also keeping a close eye on the situation are Manchester United, and the aforementioned Atlético Madrid.

Diego Simeone and co. are known to be on the lookout for reinforcements in the attacking third with a view to next season, with Wesley, it would appear, one of the options under consideration.
