The Copa America 2024 final is set with Argentina facing off against Colombia after both teams won their semi-final ties earlier this week.

Argentina was always the favorite to make the final considering the squad and how the bracket could've/did work out. Colombia had to go through a difficult group and get past Uruguay to make the final for the first time since 2001, the last time they won the tournament.

Lionel Messi is just one game away from winning back-to-back Copa America trophies, but Luis Diaz and company are arguably the most in-form team of the tournament. Who will lift the trophy Sunday night?

With the final locked in, Opta has predictions locked in for who will come out on top as champions.

Argentina is the heavy favorite with a 62.90% chance of lifting the trophy. La Albiceleste's run at Copa America has been near flawless. The team has conceded just one goal all tournament, a stoppage time equalizer against Ecuador that forced the quarter-final tie to penalties. Other than that, the team has cruised even with Lionel Messi only getting his first goal of the tournament in the semi-finals.

Lautaro Martinez will likely walk away with the Golden Boot for the tournament, along with Emiliano Martinez winning the Golden Glove. Dibu has already matched his clean sheet total from Argentina's successful 2021 campaign.

Colombia has conceded three goals this tournament, but Los Cafeteros have scored 12 goals compared to Argentina's eight. Colombia successfully navigated a first-half red card to defeat Uruguay 1-0 returning to the final for the first time since 2001.

Unlike most of the knockout stage, the final will have extra time. Nerves will play a factor, as they always do in an international final, but there isn't the looming possibility of penalties right away after the 90. Argentina won its only penalty shootout against Ecuador 4-2, and Colombia haven't gone to penalties this tournament.

Argentina was, and still is, the favorite to win the tournament this summer, but its toughest opponent is still to come.

The final takes place July 14 at 8 p.m. ET at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, FL.
