An insight into the plans of Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti for his side’s upcoming meeting with Real Betis has on Saturday been provided.

Los Blancos, of course, are primed to return to action on Sunday night.

Desperate not to lose any more ground on rampant arch rivals Barcelona atop the La Liga table, the reigning Spanish champions will play host to Manuel Pellegrini’s Real Betis.

Ancelotti’s troops will head into proceedings amid what has proven a largely underwhelming opening to the term, culminating in a 1-1 stalemate with minnows Las Palmas during the week.

As per a report from Relevo, there are expected to a trio of faces reintroduced to Real Madrid’s XI to take on Betis.

Two will come down the right, where Lucas Vázquez and Brahim Díaz are expected to be replaced by Dani Carvajal, and Rodrygo.

Even more noteworthy, though, will be an alteration in the middle of the park.

Relevo point towards Blancos captain Luka Modrić preparing to return to the bench, in favour of youngster Arda Güler.
