With a combined attendance of over 800,000 in the 2024/25 season, the Championship is one of the best-supported football leagues in the world.

However, in a time of financial hardship for many across the country, while clubs wrestle to find a financial balance in an increasingly commercialised footballing landscape, how do Championship clubs compare with each other when it comes to season ticket prices?

With next term approaching thick and fast, Football League World takes a look at all 24 Championship clubs and their cheapest adult season ticket.

Here is the full breakdown from the highest prices down to the best bargains in the division.

While they have reached the play-offs twice since returning to the Championship in 2017, Middlesbrough are always up there as a potential promotion contender.

With Rob Edwards taking over from Michael Carrick at the Riverside, the Teesiders have a manager with promotion credentials, with the only way being up after Boro limped to a 10th-place finish last term.

Sheffield Wednesday are currently in turmoil. Multiple months with unpaid wages, a failed takeover, and rumours continuing to swirl regarding manager Danny Röhl.

The Owls are entering the 2025/26 term in a far from ideal fashion, and it will be interesting to see just how full Hillsborough is come their first home match against Stoke City on August 16th.

Norwich are looking to reaffirm themselves as one of the Championship's best as they rebuild under Liam Manning.

The Canaries have finished 14th, 6th, and 12th since their relegation from the Premier League in 2022, but they still sit near the top of the price list with their season tickets. A much better end-of-season return will be expected this time around.

After achieving the goal of Championship survival and a 16th-place finish last term, John Mousinho's Portsmouth are aiming to further solidify themselves in the second tier after a 12-year hiatus.

With 40 of their 54 points coming at home, Pompey will be looking to make Fratton Park a fortress once again heading into 2025/26.

Sitting slightly below their south coast rivals, Southampton are looking to rebuild under new manager Will Still as a result of their Premier League relegation.

The Saints picked up just six points at home in the top-flight last term, and will be looking to immediately reverse those fortunes as they prepare for a potential promotion-chasing campaign.

6 Millwall FC - £459

Alex Neil's Lions narrowly missed out on the play-offs last time, securing an eighth-place finish.

With 40 of their 66 points coming at The Den last time around, supporters will be looking to continue making the place a fortress to sustain another push at the right end of the table.

The Sky Blues missed out on a trip to Wembley in the most heartbreaking fashion in the play-off semi-final against Sunderland.

However, positive signs are there moving forward under Frank Lampard, and Coventry will once again be tipped for a campaign fighting at the top end of the Championship.

8 West Bromwich Albion - £439

West Brom are looking to return to the play-offs after missing out in a turbulent season that saw Carlos Corberan depart for Valencia in his native Spain.

Ryan Mason takes over at the Baggies and will hope that his side can match and improve on the 41 points picked up at the Hawthorns last term.

As with Coventry, Sheffield United suffered heartbreak at the end of last term. However, the Blades suffered under the Wembley Arch, as Sunderland secured promotion to the Premier League at United's expense.

Entering a new era under Ruben Selles, the jury is out on Sheffield United when it comes to whether or not they are promotion material. However, after their success last season, the Blades will be expected to be fighting among those at the top end.

10 Watford FC - £422

Making the controversial decision to relieve Tom Cleverley of his duties after a 14th-place finish last term, Watford are looking to improve significantly in the standings under new manager Paulo Pezzolano.

The Hornets picked up 40 of their 57 points at home last season and will look to continue this form, with some additional points on the road to contribute to a potential top-six push.
