One player who is almost certain to leave Manchester City this summer is Jack Grealish. That has been obvious for some time. But it isn’t apparent where Grealish will play his football next season. Now, a new report from Ahad Shaukat for CaughtOffside indicates that there is a host of clubs interested in signing the England international. Jack Grealish would seemingly benefit from a fresh start, and he could potentially have his choice from a host of clubs to kick-start his career.
Ahad Shaukat has reported for CaughtOffside that there is a host of clubs interested in signing Jack Grealish this summer. Shaukat reports that Saudi Pro League clubs Al-Ahli, Al Hilal, and Neom SC have shown an interest in signing the England international. Shaukat further reports that Napoli have expressed an interest in signing Grealish. However, Shaukat adds that Napoli are wary of Manchester City’s £40 million asking price to sell the England international. Shaukat adds that Aston Villa, Newcastle, Tottenham, Everton and Nottingham Forest are also interested in securing Jack Grealish’s services for next season.
The past two seasons with Jack Grealish have been a frustrating experience. Injuries and a loss of form on the pitch have seen his opportunities at Manchester City diminish. When fully fit, there have been glimpses of Grealish’s immense quality on the pitch. But they have been fleeting over the last two seasons. He looks to be a player who needs a fresh start. That could be the best thing for the England international. It would also be the best move for Manchester City. They would rid themselves of Grealish’s wages which would be a good move for the club. If City could also raise £40 million from selling Grealish that would also be a major win.
It now seems that there are a host of clubs looking to sign Jack Grealish. The hope is that he can find the best club for him and he can return to his best on the pitch. Throughout his time at Manchester City, Grealish has been a loved member of Pep Guardiola’s squad. His time at City just hasn’t panned out as planned. It would seem that he may have a choice of clubs to get his career back on track. The hope is that Jack Grealish’s future is sorted sooner rather than later so he and Manchester City can move on as quickly as possible.
