On July 4, 2025, Fouzi Lekjaa, president of the FRMF, joined the Atlas Lionesses in Rabat for their final training session ahead of the 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations opener against Zambia. It was a moment of shared commitment just hours before this major event.

Yesterday, the president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation visited the Moroccan women's national team, along with their technical, medical, and administrative staff, right after their last training before the opening match against Zambia. He praised the fighting spirit of his players and the collective discipline that drives them. Fouzi Lekjaa especially encouraged the Atlas Lionesses, who have never claimed this continental title, to exceed the expectations of Moroccan supporters.

The 15th edition of the Women's AFCON, initially scheduled for 2024, will finally kick off on July 5, 2025, in Morocco. The opening match will see the Atlas Lionesses take on Zambia at the Rabat Olympic Stadium tonight at 8 p.m. GMT.
