The 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations gets underway this Saturday, July 5th, in Morocco with the first round of group stage action. The tournament will open at 8:00 PM GMT at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat, as the host nation’s Atlas Lionesses take on Zambia.

The opening matchday of the 2024 Women's AFCON spans three days, from July 5th to 7th, featuring six fixtures. Saturday, July 5th will host only the tournament’s curtain-raiser between Morocco and Zambia in Group A. The second clash in this group will be held on Sunday, July 6th, pitting Senegal against DR Congo. Defending champions South Africa begin their title defense on Monday, July 7th, facing Ghana.
