This will not only take place on the coaching bench, but will also affect Bayern’s current squad: „We will reorganise ourselves, shake things up a bit in the summer. New lads in the squad and a new coach on the touchline,“ Eberl recently emphasised.

Bayern are prepared to invest a lot

As BILD head of football Christian Falk reports, Bayern could spend a lot of money on rebuilding their squad in the summer: „Bayern are prepared to invest 200 million euros this summer“.

After a disappointing season in the Bundesliga and DFB Cup, Munich are keen to get back on the attack in the new season. In addition, the Champions League final in the Allianz Arena at home is a very special incentive, both for the players and those responsible at the German record champions.

Player sales are unavoidable

At the same time, however, the transfer insider made it clear that this should be „financed by possible sales“.

The list of potential sales candidates is long. Deserving Bayern professionals such as Serge Gnabry and Kingsley Coman are also said to be on it: „If there are no offers for Gnabry, Bayern would also talk about selling Kingsley Coman. There has also been interest in the Frenchman from Manchester United in the past.“

It is also unclear what will happen with Leroy Sané, Alphonso Davies and Joshua Kimmich, whose contracts all expire in 2025.
