Liverpool have officially appointed their Jurgen Klopp replacement, with Arne Slot set to take the reigns on June 1.

The appointment of the Feyenoord boss, who enjoyed a thoroughly successful spell at De Kuip, has caused quite the stir on social media.

A good stir though, as many Liverpool fans are notably delighted with the appointment of the Eredivisie and KNVB Cup-winning manager...

Even Jurgen Klopp hasn't been able to contain his excitement, giving Liverpool fans the gift of a wonderful new chant to usher in the new manager and a new era at Anfield...

And, judging by X, it's fair to say that the chant has already taken off...

Liverpool fans seemingly already have a loft opinion of their new boss too, with many taking to social media to hail Slot as 'the best bald manager in the Premier League'...

And even to set their 'quadruple' expectations heading into the 2024/25 campaign...

Opposition fans have been, as expected, much less receptive of Liverpool's appointment of Slot.

Having seen one of the best managers in Premier League history leave the Reds, many non-Liverpool fans were labelling the appointment of the Dutchman as the beginning of a new banter era.
